Dr Angelina Yong

Dr Angelina (Angie) Yong grew up in Singapore and graduated from medical school in Adelaide. She completed her haematology and pathology training followed by a clinical fellowship in multiple myeloma at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. She currently holds appointments as a consultant haematologist at both the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Lyell McEwin Hospital.

Dr Yong works closely with the SAHMRI Myeloma Research Laboratory and is involved with many clinical trials at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Her particular areas of interest are myeloma and amyloidosis however Dr Yong is happy to consult on all aspects of haematology, both malignant and non-malignant.

Outside of work, she enjoys exercising and spending time with her two young children.
